At Rutgers University-Camden, the Malakar group is exploring new avenues to create catalytic strategies for small molecule transformations pertinent to a clean and sustainable energy economy. Our research interfaces different aspects of rational design of ligands and catalysts, mechanistic studies, computational chemistry, and various analytical and spectroscopic techniques for characterizing catalytically relevant organometallic complexes.
